Pharaoh Seeks Blessing
When Pharaoh finally released Israel, he also said to Moses and Aaron: “Bless me also.”
• The same Pharaoh who once defied God now humbled himself, recognizing that the God of Israel was greater than him.
• His brokenness shows us that every knee will bow before the Lord—some willingly, others only after being humbled.
🔑 We don’t need to wait for life’s crises to acknowledge God’s greatness. Blessed is the one who bows in surrender now, not later in regret.
Israelites Plundered the Egyptians
As the Israelites left, the Egyptians gave them silver, gold, and clothes. God turned the wealth of the oppressors into provision for His people.
• This fulfilled God’s promise to Abraham and Moses that His people would not leave empty-handed.
• The very ones who enslaved Israel now supplied them for the journey ahead.
🔑 Lesson for us: When God redeems, He not only delivers but also equips. He can turn hearts, circumstances, and even enemies to provide for His children.
Israel walked out of Egypt free, blessed, and provided for—just as God said. In Christ, we too are set free from sin, called to bless others, and supplied with all we need for our spiritual journey.
🙏 Prayer: Lord, help me to bow willingly before You in humility and trust Your provision for my life. Let me walk in the freedom and blessing of Your salvation.
