In this time of political uncertainty, the sons of Issachar stood out because they possessed “understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do” (1 Chronicles 12:32).
Their strength was not military power but spiritual discernment. They recognized God’s purposes and guided others toward faithful action. They understood both the circumstances around them and the Word of God that explained those circumstances. Because they knew what God was doing, they could lead wisely.

They understood the times because they connected current events with God’s purposes. Discernment grows when believers prayerfully study Scripture and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Understanding means seeing beyond appearances to recognize what God is doing.

The sons of Issachar applied what they understood by leading Israel toward the right course. Wisdom is not merely knowing truth; it is obedient action. God calls believers to make decisions, influence others, and serve faithfully according to His will.
