Timothy grew up in Lystra under the loving influence of his mother, Eunice, and grandmother, Lois, who faithfully taught him the Holy Scriptures from childhood. When Paul met Timothy during his missionary journey, he recognized a young man whose sincere faith had already been rooted in God’s Word.
Timothy became Paul’s trusted companion, traveling through difficult regions, strengthening churches, and eventually shepherding believers in Ephesus. As false teachers spread confusion, Paul encouraged Timothy to remain steadfast in what he had learned, reminding him that all Scripture is inspired by God and equips believers for every good work. Timothy’s strength did not come from natural ability but from years of knowing, believing, and obeying God’s Word. As Timothy walked beside Paul, endured hardships, and witnessed God’s faithfulness, Scripture became more than lessons he remembered. He understood that God’s Word was living, trustworthy, and sufficient for every challenge.
👣 WISDOM — Living God’s Truth
Timothy faithfully taught God’s Word, guarded sound doctrine, and led believers with humility. His life demonstrated that genuine wisdom is seen in consistent obedience, faithful service, and steadfast devotion to Christ despite opposition.
🏡 Susanna Wesley’s Lasting Legacy
Susanna Wesley faced enormous challenges while raising a large family with limited resources and frequent hardships. Yet she believed that Scripture was the greatest gift she could give her children. She intentionally set aside time to teach them the Bible, pray with them, and nurture their relationship with God.
Her faithful discipleship shaped the lives of her sons, John and Charles Wesley, who later became influential leaders in the evangelical revival and blessed countless believers through preaching, teaching, and hymn writing. Susanna understood that biblical knowledge must become heartfelt conviction and obedient living. Her daily investment in God’s Word produced lasting spiritual fruit far beyond her home, showing that faithful discipleship today can impact generations tomorrow.

As we remain in Christ and His Word remains in us, knowledge grows into understanding, and understanding matures into godly wisdom.
